Business solutions · Sky80

A commercial air purifier that mounts on the ceiling or the wall

Sky80 cleans the air in large shared rooms up to 80 m². It mounts on the ceiling or high on a wall, keeping the floor clear and the unit out of the way.

Two ways to get it. Buy it and own it, or rent it with maintenance, filters and service included.

The problem

Bigger spaces need more powerful air cleaning

You can feel when a classroom, gym, or meeting room starts to get stuffy. What you can’t feel is what may be building up in the air, including fine particles, airborne viruses, and other contaminants. In larger, busier spaces, air cleaning needs to work harder and faster to keep up.

The object

What it looks like on your ceiling

Sky80 is 185 mm thick, with a flat face and two color options. It sits close to the ceiling rather than hanging far below it.

Airflow

One unit cleans the whole room

Sky80 moves air across the whole room, not only the area directly below it. Air from across the room returns through the purifier, allowing one unit to clean spaces up to 80 m².

Overhead

Overhead also keeps the floor clear

Because it works from above, nothing has to stand in the room.

  • No floor spaceKeeps valuable floor space free.
  • Nothing to moveIt stays out of the way when the room is cleaned or rearranged.
  • Nothing to switch offThere is no floor-level plug for someone to switch off by accident.
  • Out of reachMounted overhead, it stays out of reach in busy spaces such as schools.

Where each unit goes

A meeting room with a Sky80 on the ceiling. Clean air leaves the unit along the ceiling, runs down the walls and across the floor, and room air rises back into the unit. Illustration

Mounting

Two ways to mount Sky80

For ceiling installations, Sky80 can mount directly to a finished ceiling or hang below an exposed ceiling.

Installation

Installed in under an hour

Installation needs four bolts and a power supply. If the room has an AirTest Pro monitor, Sky80 then connects to it automatically. No ducting or ceiling cut-out is required.

Proof of value

Real-time data shows it is working

Add the optional AirTest Pro monitor to the same room. It measures the air continuously, so you can see how conditions change before and after installation.

Common questions

Buying or renting, installation, and what comes in the box.

Sky807 questions
What is the difference between buying and renting?

Ownership, upfront cost, and how the ongoing coverage is handled. Buy it and the hardware is yours with a 2 year warranty, and Air Guard and filters are separate optional items. Rent for one year or longer and there is no hardware cost up front, Nafas owns and maintains the equipment, and the warranty for the whole term, maintenance, filters and upgrades are all in the monthly fee. Delivery is free either way, and installation is a one off fixed fee either way. The comparison above sets out every line.

What is the minimum rental term?

One year. You can choose one, two or three years, and the longer the term the lower the monthly rate. On any term you can pay monthly or pay the full term upfront, and paying upfront gives you a further 10% discount.

What do delivery and installation cost?

Delivery is free on every order, whether you buy or rent. Installation and commissioning is a one off fixed fee, the same either way, and a Nafas technician does the work: mounting, power, pairing to an AirTest Pro if the room has one, and handover.

The one exception is civil works. If your ceiling or wall needs building work before the unit can go up, that is quoted separately after an inspection. Most rooms need none.

What is Air Guard, and is it required?

Air Guard is the service layer: extended warranty, maintenance, part and unit replacement, and scheduled filter swaps. It is not required. Every Sky80 works fully on its own with the standard warranty. When you buy, you can add it. When you rent, that same coverage is already part of what you pay each month, so there is nothing extra to buy.

What comes in the box?

The Sky80 purifier, with the 3 stage H13 filter already fitted, the four bolt mounting kit and template, and the quick start and safety documentation. The AirTest Pro air quality monitor is an optional add-on, sold separately. It always measures CO₂, temperature and humidity, and in the Sky80 configuration PM2.5, TVOC and NOx, and the Sky80 reads it to adjust itself.

How many units does my space need?

One Sky80 covers up to 80 m², but the real answer depends on ceiling height, occupancy, how much outside air gets in and what you are trying to remove. That is what the complimentary assessment is for. Larger rooms may need more than one unit, which the assessment will confirm.

What happens at the end of a rental term?

Four choices. Renew for another term, upgrade to a newer model, buy the system outright, or return the hardware. If you return it, we come and collect it.
